Established in 1985, the ACCS is one of the most comprehensive ‘all fibre’ carpet grading schemes in the world and classifies carpets according to their performance characteristics.

Mist Certification
Warm, sophisticated and creative, the Mist range of extra heavy duty carpets is suitable for very busy shops, public areas, clubs, hotels, aged care centres, offices, schools and health care facilities, as well as being ideal for residential use.
Mist PE Certification

Suitable for Use on Stairs
For a carpet to be considered as being ‘suitable for use on stairs’, it must meet the specifications for Residential Heavy Duty (3 stars) at a minimum. It must also have a minimum pile density, a maximum pile height and must not show ‘grin-through to the backing’ when bent around a stair nosing. Inspired Floorcoverings’ Mist, Mist PE, KNIT and Austral Lights ranges all meet the standards required for certification for use on stairs.
